Davis Cup: Marin Cilic and Borna Coric put Croatia 2-0 up in final
Cilic is Croatia’s highest-ranked player Marin Cilic and Borna Coric both won their singles matches to put Croatia 2-0 up in the Davis Cup final against hosts France. Cilic, the world number seven, easily got the better of the injury-hit Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3 7-5 6-4. Tsonga, who needed a medical time out in the third set, missed all five of his break-point chances. Earlier, Coric, ranked 12, defeated world number 40 Jeremy Chardy 6-2 7-5 6-4 to give Croatia the advantage.
