Bad boy Benoit Paire is at it again. This time, the Frenchman, known for his comical outbursts, may have taken it a bit too far when he spit in the clay, directly on a ball mark that he had been disputing with the umpire moments before.
Benoit Paire complains about a mark, spits on it, gets a code violation, then proceeds to take all the anger out on an overhead and continues to complain as he runs to the chair 😂 #abnamrowtt pic.twitter.com/tcQpj502uB

Paire, who is squaring off with Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo at the Argentina Open today, fell in three sets to Cerundolo.
Side note: We take it that Benoit would prefer Hawk-Eye on clay?
UPDATE: Paire posted the following tweet after his loss.
Finalement ça vaut le coup d’être nul 😘🖕🏻 pic.twitter.com/PbWsGQLa1A

Translation: At the end, it’s worth it to suck…
Paire was making his first appearance at Buenos Aires since 2012. Not sure if he won over a lot of fans (or the tweet) with his behavior. Our guess is probably not.
